Crvena Zvezda defeated Mega at the start of the ABA League semis, scoring 103 points

Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet, the ABA League regular season leaders, are one win away from another regional final.

Ioannis Sfairopoulos’s side recorded a commanding 103-73 victory at the start of the semifinals against Mega MIS, taking a 1-0 lead in the best-of-three series.

It was complete dominance from the second quarter until the end by Crvena Zvezda, with all 12 players entering the scoring sheet. Nemanja Nedovic and Rokas Giedraitis stood out with 13 points each, while Trey Thompkins added 11 and Milos Teodosic 10.

For the losing side, Nikola Djurisic, who recently declared for the 2024 NBA draft, stood his ground and had 26 points and a game-high PIR of 31.

The second game of the series is set for May 7, and a potential third could be played on May 10.
