The 32-year-old guard is now set to become a legend of the Turkish club in the EuroLeague

Set to become a legend of Anadolu Efes, Shane Larkin has officially extended his stay in Istanbul for four more years, finally agreeing to an extension with the Turkish club.

Coming off one of his best personal seasons in the EuroLeague by averaging 16.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game, he will probably be introduced into one of the competition’s two best Starting Lineups.

Winning two consecutive EuroLeague titles in 2021 and 2022 with Efes, the team didn’t make it to the Playoffs both in 2023 and 2024, when they lost in the newly introduced Play-In Showdown to Virtus Bologna. Shane Larkin will try to invert the route in the following seasons.

This four-year extension comes right after head coach Tomislav Mijatovic’s newest agreement with Anadolu Efes, announced yesterday for two more years on the Turkish club’s bench.

Before signing with Anadolu Efes back in 2018 to cement his legacy in the club, the now 32-year-old guard played in the NBA for Dallas, New York, Brooklyn, and Boston, while spending the 2016-17 season with Baskonia.
