Jan Vesely is in the agenda of several NBA clubs, however he seems intent on postponing a potential return to the best league in the planet for at least one more year.
As Eurohoops has learned, the Czech forward/center is very close to making a final decision that will keep him with Fenerbahce in the upcoming season.
The NBA opt-out clause in Vesely‘s contract with the reigning EuroLeague champions expires on July 15 and this date will most likely pass without him changing squads, despite some talks with NBA teams.
Thus Vesely, 26, will remain an Istanbul resident unless a very good deal prospect arrives in the very last minute.
Vesely finished the previous season, his third in the Turkish team’s jersey, averaging 9.6 points and 4.5 rebounds during 24 minutes per game in EuroLeague.
