Trento easily prevailed in Game 5 on the road against Olimpia Milano with 82-102 and advanced to the finals for the first time ever, after winning the series (4-1)!
Dominique Sutton paced the winners with 26 points, followed by Dustin Hogue’s 17.
Rakim Sanders’ 25 weren’t enough to save Milano.
The hosts were competitive only for the first half, as they chased Trento and were only down 43-46. It was during the third quarter when the visitors took charge and outdid their opponents with a partial 15-33 score, leading 54-79 after 30 minutes.
Midway through the final period, the Trento side expanded its lead to 20+ points, sealing the win.
