A historic game at the U Arena at Paris was held for the French ProA between Nanterre 92 and ASVEL
In the history of the French championship, never a basketball game was played in front of such a record crowd. The Ile-de-France club announced last Saturday (10/3) that 15,220 tickets were sold (ed. note: The initial official report was 14.666).
For the record, Nanterre got the 81-80 win, which was good enough for a 13-9 record and the fourth spot of the ProA standings. ASVEL dropped to a 11-11 record.
