A few noticeable players are still available for next season and could possibly be suitable for any European team looking for a late addition (don’t forget to check out our EuroLeague tranfers guide to stay updated with the latest moves).
Let’s check out who some of these players are:
Justin Doellman – Power forward – 32
Injury plagued Doellman parted ways with Barcelona in June, after spending three seasons with the team and has been a free agent since.
The experienced American/Kosovan player suffered a soleus injury in March that kept him away from action for about a month. Still, in 15 Euroleague games last season, he tapped 7.8 points and 3.1 rebounds on average.
At 32 and with plenty of experience, he could be a fit for any team, given that he has overcomed said injury.
Joey Dorsey – Power forward/Center – 33
Another big man on our list, who’s been on Virtus Bologna’s radar for this summer. Dorsey spent part of the previous season in Best Balikesir of Turkey, arriving from Barcelona, where he averaged 8.7 points and 9.2 rebounds.
The 2012 EuroLeague champion remains a versatile player on the court and can add quality and experience to any team. His long career history includes teams like Baskonia (ex Caja Laboral), Olympiacos, Galatasaray, Houston Rockets, Toronto Raptors and Sacramento Kings and could be appreciated by a team looking for a veteran.
Artsiom Parakhouski – Center – 29
The big man who has left his mark in Euroleague by now is currently considered a free agent as he only renewed with Unics for the 2016-17 season. He averaged 11.3 points and 5.1 rebounds in 29 games last year, making opposing big guys’ lives tougher while he was on the floor.
Parakhouski has proved his reliability the previous years and should be an option to consider for any team that might be on the lookout for a solid center.
