With the Euroleague transfer deadline nearing its end, TED Ankara informed Olympiacos that they are not willing to part ways with Frank Elegar. The buy out offer of the Reds was denied for a second time.
The Turkish club is making a run for the BSL playoffs and they want to keep their roster intact in order to have the best possible chances for success. On the other hand Olympiacos has to move more than fast, as the transfer deadline of Euroleague expires tomorrow at 18.00 CET.
That’s why the Reds are once again knocking on the door of Karsiyaka in order to get Colton Iverson. The American big man has a contract which can be bought out in the summer and Olympiacos hopes that they can finally get their man. On the other hand, Karsiyaka can make more money by released the player now for bigger buy out to the Reds, compared to the out clause which is included in his contract.
