Dimitris Itoudis had an interesting proposal to make to Euroleague in the press conference after CSKA‘s friendly game against Aris.
The coach mentioned how helpful it would be for all teams if they had a 13 man roster available, bearing in mind the competitiveness and fatigue that will derive from Euroleague’s new format.
Itoudis noted that such a change also happened in the past, when the squads players were increased from 10 to 12 players and it is possible to happen as all teams have 13 or more active contracts for the season.
It remains to be seen whether the coach’s suggestion will be taken into consideration by Euroleague.
