Enisey prevailed over Lokomotiv in a very tight game during the final period, 66-68. Last season Euroleague Final 4’s surprises fell to Oleg Okulov’s team, yet the match was rather balanced between the two in terms of rebounding and turnovers. The game’s fate was decided in the final six seconds, an upset for Lokomotiv which might cause trouble further in the season.
For Enisey (1-2), 18 points came from Frank Elegar, while Vladislav Trushkin added 12 and Tony Taylor 11. For Fotis Katsikaris’ team (0-1), Taylor Rochestie had a splendid performance of 19 points and 4 assists, followed by Maurice Collins’ 16 points.
In the other game of the day, Tsmoki (1-1) beat Avtodor (1-2) with 89-83. For the winners, Laimonas Kisielius scored 22 points and had 5 rebounds, while for the opposing team, Nicolas Minnerath scored 23 points with 7 boards.
