There’s no end on sight for the bad luck and injury problems that have been plaguing Barcelona. The most recent “casualty”in the Catalan camp is Victor Claver.
As the club officially announced, the Spanish power forward suffered an injury on the scaphoid bone of his left wrist during the road game against Maccabi Tel Aviv, which Barcelona won 79 – 69.
He is undergoing a surgery on Friday and the estimated recovery time will keep him off the floor for about 4 weeks. Apart from some big Euroleague games, he will miss the Liga Endesa clasico between Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Claver has been averaging 6.8 points and 3.8 rebounds per game so far in Euroleague.
