CSKA had an easy evening at home against Zenit, crashing the visitors with almost a double score, 105 – 56. Vitaly Fridzon was the first scorer for the reigning Europeans champions with 23 points, while Nando De Colo almost reached a double double with 17 points with 9 assists. Following Cory Higgins contributed 12 points, while Milos Teodosic and Kyle Hines shared 10.
Earlier in the day, Khimki prevailed at home over Unics with 87 – 70 , while Nizhny Novgorod crashed Kalev with 102 – 81. For Nizhny, Ivan Strebkov had a notable performance with 24 points and 6 assists.
Finally, VEF grabbed a tight win against Tsmoki-Minsk in overtime, with 88 – 85. Janis Blums led the hosts with 22 points.
Unics remain on top of the league with a 5-1 record, Zenit follows at 4-1, however CSKA Moscow is for the moment third but still the only unbeaten team at 4-0 with Enisey at the fourth spot at 3-2. Khimki has played so far just three games and has a 2-1 record.
