Sidigas Avellino completed a strong addition to its roster, by signing Ukrainian center Kyrylo Fesenko to a one-year deal.
29-year old Fesenko had a quite… adventurous previous year starting in Lokomotiv Kuban, leaving the team to join Cantu, in Italy and then moving to Monaco to finish the season.
In ten Euroleague games with Lokobasket, he averaged 6.1 points and 4.3 rebounds playing 15 minutes per game.
“With the arrival of Fesenko we complete our frontline,” said Avellino coach Sacripanti. “He has different characteristics from Cusin, Leunen or Zerini so that doubles our weapons. I believe that his experience, size and strength will give us a big hand for the upcoming season.”.
Apart from the Italian Lega A, Avellino will also compete in the FIBA Champions League.
