The Greek community of Astana is about to become… bigger! After Ilias Papatheodorou assumed the head coach position of the Kazakh team, and bringing Leonidas Kaselakis on board, the VTB League team is about to sign point guard Dimitris Katsivelis.
Katsivelis, 25, is a two-time (2012, 2013) with Olympiacos with whom he has been playing from 2010 to 2015. He spent the previous season in AEK averaging 3.6 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists in Eurocup.
He scored 3.2 points per game in the Greek Basket league.
