Υou can blame jet-lag but Slovenia traveled to China in order to compete in the “Stankovic Cup” and lost to the national team of Russia after three wins at home. To make things even worst that was the Russia B team, as the first team is preparing for the upcoming Eurobasket qualifiers.
Slovenians missed once more their star, Goran Dragic, but that probably doesn’t qualify as an excuse. Russia got the 70-67 win behind 17 points by Artem Vikhrov.
