Μεταξύ αυτών, οι πρώην συμπαίκτες του στην Εφές, Τσέντι Οσμάν, Φουρκάν Κορκμάζ και Ντόγκους Μπαλμπάι, αλλά και ο Κάιλ Χάινς και ο Σέρχιο Γιουλ.
Πέρα από την Ευρωλίγκα, που μάλιστα άλλαξε το logo της για να αποδώσει τιμή στον νεκρό και οι ελληνικές ομάδες, Παναθηναϊκός και Ολυμπιακός είπαν το δικό τους ”αντίο”.
