Ο άλλοτε σταρ του ΝΒΑ ανακοίνωσε μέσω του instagram πως δεν θα συνεχίσει να αγωνίζεται με την ισραηλινή ομάδα, την οποία φέτος θα καθοδηγήσει ο Φώτης Κατσικάρης, επισημοποιώντας έτσι το φινάλε της καριέρας του, έπειτα από 14 χρόνια στο ΝΒΑ και πέρυσι στο Ισραήλ.

“Παρότι θα ήθελα πολύ να αγωνιστώ για άλλη μια σεζόν, η ομάδα, ο κόουτς κι εγώ δεν βρήκαμε έναν ρόλο που θα μου επέτρεπε να συμβάλλω με τον τρόπο που πάντα είχα συνηθίσει να έχω” έγραψε μεταξύ άλλων ο Στουντεμάιρ στο μήνυμα μέσω του οποίου αποχαιρέτησε τα παρκέ.
