Crvena Zvezda mts took off in the second half and got the job done against Mega Bemax for a 103-85 road win which is their seventh in the head-to-head duel of these two teams.
Charles Jenkins and Billy Baron led the winning side with 17 points each while Vladimir Stimac logged an all-around performance with 12 points, eight boards, and five assists.
For Mega, Kendrick Perry had a great shooting night with game-high 31 points while Marko Simonovic added 18.
Zvezda didn’t have the best of the seasons and is in the chase for a playoff spot. They now hold the same 9-6 record as FMP which is fourth but also have one point less due to getting sanctioned by the league.
Partizan (12-3) took over the first spot thanks to Ognjen Jaramaz’s three-point buzzer-beater against Cedevita Olimpija (10-5) which is third. Buducnost stands in between with an 11-4 record.
