Crvena Zvezda mts reaffirmed its position in the ABA League playoff zone with a 94-79 road win over Igokea. This is Zvezda’s fifth straight win in the competitions and ninth straight against Igokea.
James Gist led the way with 17 points followed by Lorenzo Brown, Billy Baron, and Vladimir Stimac with 14 each. Brown also dished ten assists.
For Igokea, Michael Green and Sava Lesic scored 16 each while Rashad Vaughn added 14 points.
Zvezda holds the third spot with an 11-6 record behind Partizan NIS (14-3) and Buducnost VOLI (13-4) but in front of Cedevita Olimpija, Mornar Bar and Koper Primorksa with 10-7 records. Igokea is eighth with 6-11.
