Uros Lukovic put on arguably the best performance of his career in Mornar Bar’s 71-63 home win against Crvena Zvezda mts in ABA League.
Lukovic logged 38 PIR with 23 points on perfect 10-10 from the field while also adding seven rebounds, six blocks and two assists.
Jacob Pullen added 13 and Isiah Whitehead ten points. For Zvezda, Kevin Punter scored 22 in addition to Billy Baron’s 16 points. Lorenzo Brown didn’t play due to a high fever.
This loss made things somewhat harder for Zvezda as they now have no room for mistakes in front of the last three games in the regular season. They are at the third spot with 12-7 but have Cedevita Olimpija and Mornar behind them with the same record.
Zvezda kept the tiebreaker advantage vs. Mornar while they host Cedevita Olimpija next week which won the first clash by a nine-point margin. Partizan took the top of the standings with 15-4 after beating the second-placed Buducnost yesterday (9/2).
