The ABA League tipped off last week after the sudden interruption of the 2019-20 season back in March and problems besides COVID-19 cases already spotted have emerged.
According to a report by nova.rs, the bank in which the ABA league has an open account blocked its transactions, thus preventing its overall business operations, as a consequence of unresolved legal-property relations and disagreements between the clubs before the start of the new season.
If the financial situation isn’t resolved, the competition is under threat of a complete blockade, which will prevent all of its operations.
