Mornar Bar guard Vladimir Mihailovic set a new all-time scoring record in the ABA League by dropping 46 points in an 83 – 70 away win of his team over Mega Mozzart. He passed retired Serbian forward Milan Gurovic who had 45 points in a Crvena Zvezda 94 – 94 loss to FMP Zeleznik in 2006.
Mihailovic made 7 – 12 on 2-pointers, hit 5-9 triples and shot 17-19 free throws in 31:46 minutes to reach this achievement. While producing buckets at will, the Montenegrin guard still managed to register a team-high-tying six assists while also grabbing seven rebounds to finish the game with 50 in PIR.
Marko Jeremic added 14 points for Mornar Bar. NBA prospect Nikola Jovic led Mega with 19 points plus five rebounds.
