Partizan NIS Belgrade took down Mornar Bar at home with a 95-83 victory to bounce back in the ABA League and improve to a 20-4 record.
Partizan, which has already advanced to the competition’s semifinals, took a 12-point lead in the first quarter and managed to stay on top of the game, despite Mornar’s comeback effort in the second half.
Zach LeDay was perfect from the three-point line to tie his season-high with 24 points, along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds and Kevin Punter posted 16 points. Young gun Balsa Koprovica grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds and scored 6 points, while Alen Smailagic dropped 14 points for Partizan.
Vladimir Mihailovic tapped a game-high 25 points for Mornar (9-14), Balsa Zivanovic scored 13 and Sead Sehovic followed with 10 points and 4 assists.
