Hours after Crvena Zvezda appealed to the ABA League for the incidents that took place at the Aleksandar Nikolic Hall Wednesday, the competition’s Disciplinary Commission imposed a temporary ban on Partizan’s ticket sales, as reported by mozzartsport.com until a final decision is made.
The temporary measure of the ticket sales ban prohibits Partizan to open the first ten rows of the “A” sector, the first 12 rows of the “VIP” sector, as well as the first 13 rows of the Bela Loza” sector, and the entire “Parter 4 Senior” and “Parter B” sectors, all near the court, behind the baskets and behind the team benches.
The officials of the third game of the ABA finals submitted a report detailing all the elements that Partizan is accused of, and it is a series of incidents, primarily verbal and physical, with repeated violations of throwing various objects on the court.
Game 3 was interrupted with under a minute to play when the game officials left the court and teams rushed to the locker room. The game officials ordered the evacuation of the fourth sector as well as the first five rows behind Crvena Zvezda‘s bench. Following a nearly 40-minute break, the game continued and Partizan registered its first victory in the series.
Zvezda currently leads the series 2-1 and Game 4 will take place Friday.
