The ABA League made a final decision regarding Partizan’s case concerning the incidents in Game 3 of the Finals and the club has been fined 50,000 euros while also not being able to open the full stands for the next three games.

That means Partizan will not be able to have fans near the court, as well as behind the baskets and the benches, in Game 4 which will be their last home game in the Finals. The remaining two games will carry over to the 2022-23 ABA league regular season.

Game 3 was interrupted with under a minute to play when the game officials left the court and teams rushed to the locker room. The game officials ordered the evacuation of the fourth sector as well as the first five rows behind Crvena Zvezda‘s bench. Following a nearly 40-minute break, the game continued and Partizan registered its first victory in the series.

The best-of-five series is now 2-1 in favor of Crvena Zvezda which has the home-court advantage and will count on it in potential Game 5 that would decide the champion.

However, the side of Crvena Zvezda will also have limited seats as they were sanctioned after Game 2 of the series. Zvezda will not be able to open the stands on Partizan’s side of the floor.

The club was also fined 62,500 euros (27,500 plus 35,000) combined for “insufficient organization” of the first two games.
