After a big win over Olympiacos in EuroLeague, Partizan Mozzart Bet played another nail-biter, this time in ABA League. Cedevita sensed Partizan’s tiredness and almost won in front of a sold-out crowd, but the home team survived at the end 76-73.
Cedevita had the advantage for most of the game. Still, Papapetru, Exum, Punter, and Trifunovic found the energy in the fourth quarter for a crucial push that won the game that kept Partizan on top of the standings.
Yogi Farrell missed crucial three-point shots, despite scoring 17 points, for Partizan Ioannis Papapetrou had 14 points, followed by Alen Smailagic’s 12.
Partizan is now preparing for a double week in EuroLeague, as the black and wight clubs host Barcelona on Tuesday and Real Madrid on Friday.
