Playing in Belgrade but on the road, Partizan Mozzart Bet and Crvena Zvezda Meridianbe both got the job done in AdmiralBet ABA League Regular Season Round 24 Monday.
The team guided by Zeljko Obradovic retained a slim advantage in the race for the top seed with two Rounds and plenty of suspended games remaining on the double-legged round-robin schedule leading to the Playoffs.
Zach LeDay tallied 19 points and Dante Exum chipped in 16 more points as Partizan held on to defeat FMP Soccerbet, 97-91, without suspended Mathias Lessort and Balsa Koprivica (illness) in FMP Arena. Former Partizan forward Aleksa Stepanovic scored a season-high 21 points for the hosts.
Earlier, Crvena Zvezda logged a win, 87-78, against Mega MIS in Belgrade’s Ranko Zeravica Sports Hall. Contributing a game-high of 23 points, Ognjen Dobric set a new personal best for the 2022-23 season. Running the point for the team coached by Dusko Ivanovic, Facundo Campazzo posted a 15-point, 11-assist double-double. Ben Bentil ruled out joined Branko Lazic and Nemanja Nedovic on the injury list.
