As expected Crvena Zvezda did not have many problems against Mornar in round 23 of the ABA League. The red and white team from Belgrade stormed thru Bar for a big 87-65 victory that keeps them in the conversation for the top spot in the standings, but for that to happen Partizan must lose against Buducnost on Friday.
The game was over after the first qourter when Zvezda’s defense allowed only seven points and jumped to a big 23-7 lead that let them crouse till the end of the game finishing the job with no problems.
Nemanja Nedovic had a great game. The explosive guard scored 20 points in just 17 minutes, while Luka Mitrovic added 13.
Coach Dusko Ivanovic decided to rest Luca Vildoza and Ben Bentil.
As for Mornar, Gregor Glas, the former Partizan player scored 19 points but it was not enough to get his team close to a victory.
