Crvena Zvezda registered its first road win over Buducnost in the ABA League playoffs with a 97 – 56 blowout in Game 2 of the semifinals to sweep the series. Red Star will be facing the winner of the Partizan Belgrade – Cedevita Olimpija series in the Finals.
Luka Mitrovic scored 17 points and grabbed five rebounds, Filip Petrusev had 14 points and Nemanja Nedovic dropped 13 points for Zvezda. After a balanced (26-25) first quarter, their team dominated 8 – 23 in the second period to close halftime up 34 – 48. They remained unstoppable to get a 30-point lead, 43-73 late in the third period, turning the game into a rout.
Only Igor Drobjnak (11 points) scored in double figures for Buducnost.
