In front of the Slovenian superstar Goran Dragic, Partizan Belgrade closed the best-of-three series in the ABA League Semifinals against Cedevita Olimpija, advancing to the Finals, where the black-and-white team will face Crvena Zvezda if they stick to it.
Zach LeDay dragged Zeljko Obradovic‘s team to the 90-71 win against the Slovenian side with 17 points and 4 rebounds, and the Dante Exum-James Nunnally duo combined for 23 points and 9 assists. Cedevita’s leader Yogi Ferrell found one of his worst shooting nights of the season (0/6 from deep), but dished 7 assists, while Goran’s brother Zoran Dragic ended with 15 points.
In the previous clashes between Partizan and Cedevita, the two sides shared victories at home. In the other ABA League Semifinals series, Crvena Zvezda completely crushed Buducnost. In Game 1, the red-and-white side won with a 38-point margin (93-55), extending it to a 41-point margin in Game 2 (97-56).
