SC Derby are the new ABA Super Cup Winners, and they have done it an amazing comeback against Partizan Mozzart Bet late in the game, after a game-winning three-pointer by Borna Kapusta, prevailing by 83-81.
This is the first ever ABA Super Cup trophy for SC Derby, which have become the fourth team to lift this trophy, after Cedevita Zagreb, Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet and Partizan Mozzart Bet.
Kenan Kamenjaš of SC Derby has earned himself the title of the Most Valuable Player of the 2023 ABA Super Cup, as he has led his team to the win with 14 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and a valuation of 22.
Aubrey Dawkins with 18 points was the top scorer of the winning side.
Partizan entered the final three minutes of the game with an 8-point lead (81-73), but failed to score afterwards and it was Borna Kapusta, who sealed the win for SC Derby with a game-winning three-pointer, completing the SC Derby’s 10-0 run in the end of the game.
Kevin Punter scored 23 points for Partizan.
