A win in Podgorica behind an improved effort in the last ten minutes lifts Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet to 11-1 in the AdmiralBet ABA League Regular Season.
Luka Mitrovic and Milos Teodosic took over in the fourth period, paving the way to the win, 91-77, against SC Derby in Moraca Sports Center on Sunday.
Mitrovic paired his 20 points with seven rebounds. Yago Dos Santos with 15 points, Shabazz Napier with 13 points, and Branko Lazic with 12 points were the remaining double-digit scorers. Teodosic chipped in eight points, nine assists, and three steals for the team coached by Giannis Sfairopoulos.
Playing for the first time since early November, Adam Hanga registered five points, one rebound, one assist, and one steal over 14 minutes. Dalibor Ilic (back) remaining on the sidelines was joined by Nemanja Nedovic and Ognjen Kuzmic for the Round 12 affair.
For the hosts, Igor Drobnjak tallied a team-high 17 points. The Montenegrin club was forced down to 6-6.
Following the convincing win over Buducnost VOLI on Saturday, Partizan Mozzart Bet settled in a three-way tie with Igokea m:tel and Cedevita Olimpija in second place in the standings.
