Tragically passing away a few days ago at 46 years old, Dejan Milojevic has left a huge mark in the world of basketball. When talking about Serbia, his legacy increases even more, considering how important he was for his country first as a player and then in his coaching career.
It’s natural, then, that his first head coaching club would dedicate something special to him. KK Mega MIS announced that from now on its training center in the Braće Jerković neighborhood of Belgrade will be named after Dejan Milojevic to honor his legacy.
As can be read on the Serbian basketball team’s official website, “the place where Milojević made an immeasurable contribution to the development of a large number of top players and positioned Mega as a club outside of the American continent with the most drafted players in the NBA will symbolically bear his name from today and thus forever tear his image and work and rich coaching legacy from oblivion”.
