Partizan Mozzart Bet scored a bunch of points on a record breaking night, defeating Cedevita Olimpija at home 110-102.
Zeljko Obradovic‘s side broke two scoring records in the first half, with 42 points, the most ever in the first quarter, and 70 points in 20 minutes, which is also the highest number of all time.
Danilo Andjusic led the way with 23 points, Aleksa Avramovic added 17, Bruno Caboclo 15, and Kevin Punter 13 points for the winning side. Mateusz Ponitka also finished in double figures with 11 points.
As for the Slovenian champions, Zoran Dragic had a team-high 22 points, Dweayne Stewart followed with 18, while Alexander Shashov added 13. Jaka Blazic and Alen Omic added 12 points each, with the experienced center grabbing eight rebounds.
Crvena Zvezda blew away Mornar on the road
ABA League leaders, Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet, continued their winning streak in the regional championship, securing their first triple-digit victory of the season.
Ioannis Sfairopoulos’ side blew out Mornar-Barsko zlato in Bar with a convincing 66-102 road win, improving to 18-3 in the standings.
All players except captain Branko Lazic made it to the scoring sheet, with Javonte Smart leading the way contributing 16 points.
Luka Mitrovic had 14 points with eight rebounds on a perfect 6/6 shooting from the field for a game-high PIR of 26, while Dejan Davidovac added just a point less, with the same amount of rebounds, on 4/5 shooting. Mike Tobey was also on the verge of a double-double with 11 points and nine boards.
On the other side, Tay Waller had 14 points, Tavian Dunn-Martin added 13, and February ABA League MVP Marcus Weathers contributed 11 points with six rebounds.
