The defending ABA League champions, Partizan Mozzart Bet, traveled to Podgorica to face the ABA Supercup winners, SC Derby.
In the rematch of the Supercup finale, Zeljko Obradovic‘s side prevailed 78-84 and jumped to second place in the standings with an 18-6 record.
Talented Serbian center Balsa Koprivica had one of his best performances in a Partizan jersey. He scored a career-high 20 points in the ABA League and eight rebounds in less than 20 minutes of playing time.
James Nunnally added 17 points with five rebounds, while Kevin Punter finished the match with 16.
As for the Montenegrin team, the US swingman Aubrey Dawkins was the only one in double figures with 21 points.
