Former Turkish Airlines EuroLeague players, Leon Radosevic and Ahmet Duverioglu have signed with upstart Dubai.
The newly formed club officially named Jurica Golemac as the first head coach in team history. Beyond the additions of Awudu Abass, Danilo Andjusic, and Klemen Prepelic, Radosevic and Duverioglu are heading to the 2024-25 roster.
Dubai is set for an introduction in the next installment of the AdmiralBet ABA League.
Radosevic, 34, is a veteran of 250 games played in the EuroLeague between FC Bayern Munich, Brose Bamberg, ALBA Berlin, Lietuvos Rytas, EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, and Cibona. He has also played 18 games in the 7DAYS EuroCup with the Albatrosse and Besiktas. Spending the last two years at Bertram Derthona Tortona, he expanded his club continental career to the Basketball Champions League with six appearances, averaging 11.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per contest in the last season’s Regular Season. In the 2023-24 edition of Italy’s LBA UnipolSai, he tallied 7.1 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game.
Duverioglu, 31, logged 142 features in the EuroLeague, playing for Fenerbahce from 2016 to 2022 and for Anadolu Efes in the 2015-16 season. Moving his talents to Frutti Extra Bursaspor, the experienced center went on to play in 12 games of the 7DAYS EuroCup. Focusing on domestic league action last season at Cagdas Bodrumspor, his efforts translated into 12.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 0.9 blocks, and 0.9 steals per contest in the Turkiye Basketbol Super Ligi.
