Dubai BC has joined ABA League, and officially started building the roster for the upcoming season.
As confirmed by the club, the US point guard Nate Mason joined the UAE outfit on a two-year deal.
“Nate was one of the most coveted point guards in Europe, attracting offers from Euroleague teams. His decision to join us reflects his confidence in our vision and the key role he’ll play. Dubai fans will be captivated by his unselfish style, and his performance will undoubtedly grow alongside the team,” head coach Jurica Golemac said about the first official signing.
Mason excelled last season in Turkey with Merkezefendi, averaging 19,6 points and 6,7 assists, being the assist leader of the BSL.
The 28-year-old point guard also played for Hapoel Eilat, Avtodor and Le Mans in European basketball, and also had stings in NBA G League, China and Puerto Rico.
