Dubai BC will debut in European basketball next season after entering the ABA League.
The UAE club started building its team from scratch, and with Slovenian national team guard Klemen Prepelic signing a deal, it now has seven players.
Prepelic returned to the Adriatic competition after signing a 2+1 deal to join the league newcomers.
He has previously played for Helios Suns, Union Olimpija, and Cedevita Olimpija, and he also has rich experience playing for top foreign clubs such as Real Madrid, Joventut Badalona, Valencia, and others.
In the previous season, he made six ABA League appearances for Cedevita Olimpija, averaging 14.2 points and 8.2 assists per game, before leaving Ljubljana to join Galatasaray.
The 2017 EuroBasket gold medalist is the latest signing of Dubai BC, following Nate Mason (Yukatel Merkezefendi), Nemanja Dangubić (Peristeri), Ahmet Düverioğlu (Bordumspor), Leon Radošević (Derthona Basket), Awudu Abass (Virtus Segafredo Bologna), and Danilo Anđušić (Partizan Mozzart Bet).
