After earning experience in the first Lithuanian league, Alex Antetokounmpo will continue playing overseas, moving to the ABA League 2 by joining KK Podgorica Bemax.

As the Montenegrin club officially announced, the youngest of the Antetokounmpo brothers, who are following the steps of older siblings Giannis, Thanasis, and Kostas, will try to help the side make the jump to the first division in the ABA League, eventually facing Partizan or Crvena Zvezda in the future.

Last season, joining M Basket-Delamode midway through the 2023-24 season, he averaged 8.6 points and 2.5 rebounds per game in Lithuania, losing to Zalgiris Kaunas in the LKL Playoffs. He started the campaign in the G-League with the Wisconsin Herd, the development team of the Milwaukee Bucks.

In the past, he also tried his capabilities with UCAM Murcia and the Spanish club’s second side during the 2020-21 season. After that, he moved to the United States of America by playing with the Raptors 905 and the already-mentioned Wisconsin Herd, never debuting in the NBA.
