Crvena Zvezda’s big comeback in Zadar, Partizan convincing against Krka

After a tough win over Budućnost in the ABA League and a heavy loss to Real Madrid in the EuroLeague, Crvena Zvezda bounced back in the Adriatic championship.

However, the defending champions were 19 points down in the second quarter against Zadar, but they made a big comeback and defeated the hosts 84-77.

Ognjen Dobrić and Codi Miller-McIntyre led the charge for Crvena Zvezda with 16 points each, while Uroš Plavšić added 11, and Nikola Kalinić had 10 points.

On the other side, Amar Gegić scored 17 points, Marko Ramljak recorded a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds, while Vladimir Mihailović and Karlo Žganec added 10 points each.

While Crvena Zvezda struggled to improve to 4-2, Partizan remained perfect at the top of the standings with a convincing 96-63 victory over Krka at the Belgrade Arena.

Mario Nakić had 16 points and nine rebounds, Duane Washington also scored 16 points, while Aleksej Pokuševski was a rebound shy of a double-double with 14 points. Balša Koprivica followed with 10 points.

For Krka, Marc Garcia had 14 points, Jakub Čebašek scored 13, and Miha Cerkvenik added 10 points.
