The ABA League has announced disciplinary sanctions for Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet’s legendary point guard Milos Teodosic.

According to the official statement, Teodosic has been banned from appearing in the next three ABA League games due to threatening the referee during the clash against Buducnost in Round 20.

He was also fined financially with 7,500 euros.

Due to threatening the referee in the game, the ABA League j.t.d. Disciplinary Judge Hrvoje Vidan made a decision to sanction Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet player Miloš Teodosić.

Based on articles 1, 3, 4, 7.1, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 26.1 c, and 27.1 of the AdmiralBet ABA League Disciplinary Code, Miloš Teodosić is sanctioned by:

A ban from appearing in the next three AdmiralBet ABA League games, starting with Round 21;
A fine of 7,500 €, per official announcement.

Crvena Zvezda lost in Belgrade against the Montenegrin team and fell to 16-4 in the standings, while Buducnost remained at the top alongside Partizan, boasting an 18-2 record before the final stretch of the regular season.

Meanwhile, with significant contributions from Teodosic, Ioannis Sfairopoulos’ side won the Serbian Radivoj Korac Cup, defeating arch-rival Partizan in a thrilling final.
