The news that FIBA does not recognize any more the Adriatic League are received with almost a non reaction by the league director Kresimir Novosel.
According to Mondo.rs, Novosel made the following comments: “You know, FIBA doesn’t even officially recognize Euroleague. All of our regulations are in accordance with those of FIBA, but our clubs decided to play in Euroleague and in Eurocup. We can’t prevent them to do it. Probably FIBA doesn’t like the fact that the league decided to offer its clubs the chance to play with the best in Europe. Last year FIBA demanded the transformation of ABA and we did it. Now I don’t know what the problem is for them”.
