It took Isaiah Austin only 16 minutes to set a new career-high in points last night.
The American center, who left behind a serious health issue in 2016 to finally embark on a long awaited pro ball path, scored 20 points (on solid shooting, 4/5 two-pointers, 3/5 from downtown 3/3 free throws) to lead FMP in a 101 – 82 victory over MZT Skopje for ABA League. This number beat his previous best of 10 points, which he had scored twice in the season (vs Partizan and Karpos Sokoli).
Who knows how much more he’d produce if not he stayed on the floor for more than 16 minutes due to foul trouble (he was eventually fouled out).
