Crvena Zvezda prevailed over FMP on the road 76-84, making its ABA League record a nearly perfect 24-1, while at the same time forcing the fellow Serbian team to 10-15.
Milko Bjelica (17 points), Branko Lazic (16 points) and Nate Wolters (15 points) led the Red and Whites to this win of prestige.
Zvezda was at the lead of the game from early on, even though their opponents were competitive enough not to let the deficit expand. At 10, the visitors were up by one point, 22-23. Radonic’s team accelerated in the second period, leading 38-44 at halftime. With almost excellent defense in the third period, Zvezda also managed to expand their lead and while FMP tried to get back in the forth period (partial score 25-22), the former stood the pressure.
