Believe it or not, Partizan scored 117 points in 40 minutes of action as they edged Igokea 117-104. Not something you find every day in Europe.
The visiting team started the game better thanks to an amazing Dorrell Wright. The American forward was a pure nightmare for Partizan’s defense while Igokea won the first quarter 23-19.
After the first period, Partizan got able to connect to the basket at a higher rate and managed to tie the game after the 20 minutes of action as the two teams finished the first half with 50 points apiece.
In the second half, Partizan’s players were even more inspired as the home crowd gave them wings. It was all about Patrick Miller and Nigel Williams-Goss for the hosts since they scored 53 points and recorded 19 assists combined.
Miller finished with 23 points, 11 assists plus 5 rebounds and was named MVP of the game with an overall index rating of 40. Williams-Goss was also stunning, delivering 30 points, 8 assists and 4 rebounds.
Partizan now has a 3-2 record and Igokea 2-3.
