Cedevita had no problem protecting their home in ABA League as they prevailed over Petrol Olimpija 84-60 in Zagreb.
Juri Zdovc’s team put up a great defensive effort en route to registering their fifth victory in this season. The hosts were in control from the beginning, winning the first quarter 23-15. They hold onto that lead until the end leaving no room for a surprise.
Andrija Stipanovic torched Olimpija’s bigs as he had 18 points (7/9 from the field), 5 rebounds which were enough for 27 in PIR. He had help from Demetris Nichols and Roko Leni Ukic who scored 14 points apiece.
Devin Oliver was the only one scoring in double-figures for Olimpija with 13 points.
Cedevita now moved up to a 5-2 record while Olimpija fell down to a 2-5.
