Crvena Zvezda got its ninth victory in a row in ABA after defeating Petrol Olimpija in Belgrade 80 – 76.
It was a close game but the Serbians now stand on top of the standings with a 12-2 record -same as Buducnost- while Olimpija flopped to 5-9. The Montenegrins finished the year with a win over Cibona in Zagreb.
Taylor Rochestie’s big second half paced the Zvezda to the victory. The shooting guard finished with 16 points and 4 assists. James Feldeine -who made a clutch shot to seal the victory- and Nemanja Dangubic contributed with 13 points apiece.
Jordan Morgan had a double-double (15 p. 11 r.) but it wasn’t enough for Olimpija. Jan Span also dropped 15 points.
