Will Cherry scored 31 points to lead Cedevita to the fifth consecutive and six overall “Kresimir Cosic” Croatian Cup title after a 86 – 74 victory over fellow Zagreb club Cibona.
Jure Zdovc’s players reacted after falling behind 14 – 21 thanks to Cherry. The American guard ignited to pace his team towards a 41 – 36 halftime lead while finishing with 17 at the break. Cedevita proceeded to keep an advantage until the end.
Josip Bilinovac had 13 points for Cibona while NBA prospect Dzanan Musa scored 12 for Cedevita.
