Crvena Zvezda MTS completely demolished Cibona in their last game of the ABA League Regular Season 107-69.
The hosts were red-hot offensively and looked unstoppable in this game. They were shooting 62.9% inside the arc and 58.6% behind it.
Dylan Ennis had an amazing shooting night with 21 points, all of them scored behind the 3-point line and without a single miss (7/7). Ognjen Dobric helped him with 18 points (13 in the second half).
Karlo Uljarevic on the other side scored 13 points.
Zvezda had a lead from the start and 14 minutes into the game it already looked like it’s over for the guests as they were trailing by 19 points (41-20). It happened during the six minutes Dylan Ennis played as he hit four far away shots behind the arc to give his team a huge advantage.
That was when Cibona woke up a bit with their own 12-2 run to try and get back into the game. They managed to reduce the difference to 12 points at the halftime (48-36).
And then the hosts decided to end it. They came out ‘blazing’ in the third period scoring 34 points increasing the lead to 29 and it was more than obvious the game was over. Cibona had no answer and the lead kept rising in the last quarter too.
Zvezda finish the season at the top seed with a 19 – 3 record, while Cibona on the other side ends it with 7-15.
