After losing 3-1 in the ABA League finals series against Buducnost VOLI and therefore not qualifying for the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague next season (Serbia won’t have a representative in EuroLeague for the first time since 2001), Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade decided to make some changes in the roster to better prepare for the Serbian SuperLeague.
The club officially announced to have parted ways with the point guard Dylan Ennis who arrived in Crvena Zvezda for the second part of the 2017/18 season. His best performance was in the last round of ABA League regular season with 21 points (7/7 from the three-point territory).
Red Star also signed Aleksa Radanov and Filip Covic. Both players played in FMP Belgrade this season. Radanov averaged eight points and three rebounds per game while Covic, on the other hand, averaged 15.8 points and 7.5 assists per game.
