Serbian ABA League club Mega Bemax defeated 2018 NCAA runner-up Michigan Wolverines 81 – 73 in an exhibition game held in Barcelona, Spain on Thursday (23/8).
Some notable European prospects led the way for Mega Bemax. German shooting guard Kostja Mushidi paced the winning squad with 19 points while Georgian center Goga Bitadze scored 16. French shooting guard Adam Mokoka added 13 points.
Per The Athletic’s Brendan Quinn, Jordan Poole was the top scorer for Michigan with 16 points while Canadian-Lithuanian forward Ignas Brazdeikis had 15 points.
It has to be noted that Mega Bemax was defeated by the Kentucky Wildcats by 36 points (100-64) on the 1st of August at the Bahamas.
Mega Bemax is facing ACB club Estudiantes Friday (24/8).
